Digital signage for schools and campuses.
Announcements, menus, events and wayfinding that reach every hallway, scheduled around the school day.
What digital signage does for schools
Announcements that reach every hallway
Post a schedule change or a campus notice once and have it show on every screen in the building, or just the ones in a specific wing.
Content that follows the school day
Schedule different content by day and time: morning announcements, lunch menus at midday, after-school activity boards later.
Wayfinding for visitors and new students
Directions to the front office, gym, or a specific building, easy to update whenever rooms or events move.
Manage every building from one place
Group screens by building or department, and give staff limited access so the right people update the right screens.
Built for schools of every kind
One screen or fifty, one site or many. The same account, layouts and schedules work for:
- Primary and elementary schools
- Secondary and high schools
- Colleges and universities
- Language schools
- Training centres
- Kindergartens and nurseries
- Libraries
- Multi-campus institutions
What schools actually put on screen
- Daily announcements
- Timetable changes, exam reminders and the notice of the day, in every corridor by first bell.
- Cafeteria menus
- This week's menu with allergen notes, shown at lunchtime and swapped automatically each day.
- Event boards
- Matches, performances, parents' evenings and club sign-ups, with start and end dates so old events disappear on their own.
- Wayfinding at the entrance
- Where the office, the hall and each department are, updated when rooms change.
- Student work and achievements
- Artwork, competition results and team photos: a rotating showcase that parents see at pickup.
- Emergency and safety notices
- A priority slide pushed to every screen at once when something must be seen now.
A typical day, scheduled once
Schedule rules run by day of week and time of day. Set them once and the screens switch on their own; nobody touches a remote.
- 07:30 – 09:00
Morning announcements and timetable changes in every corridor; a welcome slide at the entrance.
- 11:30 – 14:00
Cafeteria menu in the dining hall and main corridor; event sign-ups elsewhere.
- 14:00 – 18:00
After-school clubs and sports, then a parents' information loop at pickup time.
How it works
Pair the TV
Install the free CastWize player on an Android TV, a Windows, Mac or Linux computer, or a Raspberry Pi connected to the TV. It shows a pairing code; enter it in Studio and the screen is online.
Build the content
Upload images and video, or build a slide on the canvas with text, webpages, live streams and widgets. Multi-zone layouts put a menu, a promo and a ticker on one screen.
Schedule and forget
Add slides to playlists, set day and time rules, group screens by location. Preview, publish, and every screen on that playlist updates within seconds.
Runs on the TVs you already have
There is no CastWize box to buy. Any TV with an HDMI input works, driven by a player you probably already own:
- Android TV or an Android box: the cheapest route for a wall-mounted TV; plugs into HDMI.
- Raspberry Pi 4 or 5: small, silent, low power, fine for a menu board that runs all day.
- Windows, macOS or Linux: an old laptop or mini PC behind the TV becomes a player.
- Keeps playing offline: the player caches its content, so a Wi-Fi blip doesn't blank the screen.
